AIGA Chattanooga is the city's professional association for design. We are committed to furthering excellence in design as a broadly-defined discipline, as a strategic tool for business and as a cultural force.

AIGA Chattanooga supports the interests of professionals, educators and students who are engaged in the process of designing, regardless of where they are in their careers. The disciplines represented in our chapter range from traditional communication design disciplines to the newer disciplines of interactive design and motion graphics. In addition, AIGA Chattanooga supports the interests of those involved in designing from other disciplines, professions and business who share designers' commitment to advancing understanding of the value of design.

Through the relationships our members develop within the community of designers, the information we share and the standards we develop for the profession, AIGA Chattanooga helps the profession to define its role in business and society by seeking to actively communicate the value of design to Chattanooga's business community and the general public.
